Co-founded a non-profit autism therapy clinic The Griffin Promise Autism Clinic and helped grow the practice from two therapists to 13.  Served as the Director of Therapy which included holding regular therapy staff meetings, mentorship, and learning opportunities for therapy staff.  Specialized in evaluation of individuals with Selective Mutism as well as Autistic Disorder.  Attended training on administration and coding of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule -2 Modules Toddler, 1, 2, and 3.  Have conducted well over 1,000 evaluations using the ADOS-2.  Also completed a graduate level course on Spelling to Communicate.  Offered low tech alternative communication via stencil boards to autistic individuals with absent expressive language, minimal expressive language, and unreliable expressive language.
  • In addition to my roles and responsibilities at the clinic, I presented at our annual autism conference, provided in-service training on Selective Mutism to school teachers and staff, and assisted in parent/caregiver trainings on autism therapy.  I am passionate about helping individuals and their families. My experience has equipped me with the tools to best support parents in helping their children grow to become better communicators.  I look forward to meeting and helping many more families and individuals with both Selective Mutism and Autism.  I also will continue to learn new and innovative ways to impact the lives of those I serve.
